Master Scene Study & Monologue Acting Class

Acting classes are ongoing, Tuesday night classes. The cost is $40 per class to be paid at the beginning of each class in cash.

In order to participate in the class you must audition with a contemporary, play monologue (2 minutes or less). In addition, you must have a minimum of 2 years prior acting training and provide a reference. Auditions are held monthly. You MUST make an appointment with Seri in order to audition. The six-week, three hour course is designed to help you grasp a basic understanding of dramatic structure. Classes are split into two parts: During the first half we discuss either the results of a writing exercise or an assigned text. During the second half of class we read one another's own work aloud. I will teach you how to interpret feedback and help develop your work.

Other working playwrights are invited to class as guest speakers.
